More About This Event

During our time together:

–  Let’s be real, family Bible reading is sometimes synonymous with boredom. This is because we approach it with the wrong purpose. We need to ask, “Why are we even doing this?”

–  We will examine the reasons that lead to boredom and then reset our purpose so that this becomes a welcome staple in family life.

–  We will review some best practices that address challenges faced with younger—and older—children.

–  Variety is the spice of life! We will provide some devotional resource ideas that provide a change of pace keeping it fresh and interesting for children… and parents!

–  You will leave with your own personalized plan.

It’s a new year! Why not get off on the right foot by doing the one thing that has proven through many generations to be the key to helping our children walk with Christ: reading the Word as a family.

Whether you just need some refreshment or still trying to get off the ground, you will leave encouraged, equipped and with a plan.

Meet
Eric and Leslee

Eric and Leslee have been married for 29 years and have eight children, three of whom are married.

They have served together in ministry for their entire marriage. Eric served on staff at a church in NVA and launched Home in Him ministry in 2001. He was an elder for eight years and the Wallaces are members of Sycamore PCA in Midlothian, VA.

Through the years they have endured parenting failures, but along the way they have seen the difference our identity in Christ makes. It replaces frustration and fear with rest and confidence.
