Verse

Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”

– Psalm 87:7

Key Idea

God is a joyful spring that wells up inside of us.

How Does This Help Me?

Sometimes this spring seems more like an intermittent trickle. Why?

We all have other “springs” or loves that we foolishly depend on for refreshing. Certainly, God has given us many blessings to enjoy but none are able to sustain us with fresh, living water like He does.

What is something (house beautiful, success, or hobby) or someone (a spouse, child, or friend) in your life that you are demanding be a “spring” for you?

Name it. Confess it. Repent of it. Then drink of The Spring that never runs dry!

Is your spring dry? Does your parched tongue need a quick splash of cool water? Please take a look at Your Identity in Christ From A to Z. There is also a child’s version of this document, too.
